Who we are

VANE (runvane.com) provides operational intelligence software for technical ship management. This page explains what data we handle when you visit this website or correspond with us, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect on this website

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) in server logs for security and delivery purposes.

The interactive product demonstration on this site runs entirely in your browser and uses fictional data. No demo interaction is recorded.

When you contact us

If you email us, we process your name, email address, and the content of your message to respond and to follow up on your request. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

Product data

When VANE is deployed for a customer, operational data (email, maintenance records, schedules, documents) is processed under a separate data processing agreement with that customer. It is never used to train models for other customers and never shared with third parties beyond the subprocessors named in that agreement.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to nana@runvane.com. If you believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
